I’m Elizabeth Espolt (though most people call me Liz), and I’m honored to serve as the principal of Alvord Elementary. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master of Special Education and Administration from East Central University.
My husband, Steve and I have been married for 24 years and are proud parents of twins. Our daughter attends the University of Oklahoma, and our son is at Oklahoma Baptist University. Steve serves as the Dean of Students at Ponder ISD, teaches OnRamps Physics through the University of Texas, and oversees safety and security for the district.
I’ve spent over 20 years in education. I’ve had the privilege of teaching kindergarten through fourth grade and served in roles such as interventionist, instructional coach, testing coordinator, and served on the campus leadership team.
I feel incredibly blessed to join the Bulldog family and look forward to partnering with our amazing staff, students, families, and community!
