My name is Michele Hardee, and I am married (Ricky) with one daughter (Makinna), a step-daughter (Malloree), three grand-kids, four cats, and two dogs. My husband and daughter are Alvord graduates, along with many family members. I also have several family members who currently attend school within Alvord ISD.

Fourteen years ago my journey began in second-grade as a homeroom mom and volunteer with our previous principal in the very same room that is now my classroom. I subbed for years, long-term subbed, and did my student teaching in second-grade. This year (2025 – 2026) will be my seventh year as an Alvord ISD employee and my fourth year teaching second-grade fulltime. I graduated from Western Governors University Teachers College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

My hobbies include hiking, exercising, reading, and traveling. I am originally from Alabama and travel back home to Alabama every couple of months. Roll Tide!
